The Nashville Central Christian (NCC) Warriors is Middle Tennessee’s competitive Varsity and Middle School basketball teams for homeschooled boys and girls.  This program facilitates the decision of dedicated parents to educate their children at home while at the same time allowing them the opportunity to utilize their God given athletic abilities. Currently the teams are composed of homeschooled students from nine different Middle Tennessee counties and fourteen local communities surrounding Nashville. The teams play a challenging schedule composed of other homeschool teams, private Christian schools, as well as public schools in Middle Tennessee, including TSSAA schools.  Team coaches have high school/college playing and coaching experience. 

Home games are played on the campus of Nashville School of Arts located in Nashville, and teams play a schedule of approximately 24 games and compete in two or three tournaments in addition to a National Homeschool Tournament at the end of the season. In March, five Warrior teams were among the 300 teams representing over 40 states that competed in the Seventeenth Annual National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championships held in Oklahoma City, OK.  The Warrior teams were well represented with the following tournament results:

  Varsity Boys - 20^th place  (of  74 teams)

      Junior Varsity Boys – 6^th place  (of 34 teams)

 Varsity Girls – 24^th place  (of 42 teams)

      Middle School Boys – 10^th place  (of 40 teams)

                The players and families who have participated in the Warrior basketball program have found it to be a very rewarding experience. The stated mission of the program is to provide a venue for homeschool students to, “... honor our Lord Jesus Christ through the pursuit of excellence in the sport of basketball.”  Its objectives include strengthening family unity and involvement through participation in the parent-run program.
